"GDP per capita in Norway is now among the highest in the OECD-area. Large income from natural resources explain part of our rapid economic growth, but the main explanation is to be found in the high productivity growth combined with high employment rates, especially among women," said State Secretary Roger Schjerva in his intervention speech in Paris.
