The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave a collection of publications on the Nordic Gender Equality Model to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in October 2006.

The symposium Gendered and Developmental Perspectives on Infant Mortality Decline aimed at bringing together different perspectives on infant mortality. Gender and Women’s roles in the processes and efforts of reducing infant mortality were linked with historical and contemporary statistics.

Databases of women scientists are an important strategy to promote women in science and to increase the percentage of women in top-positions in the scientific field. This publication offers an overview of existing databases of women scientists and a catalogue of high quality criteria. KILDEN, Norway participated in the project funded by the European Commission 6th Framework programme.

Women in science is a resource bank for those who work for an improved gender balance in the university and college sector, and those who are interested in issues on gender equality in science. Women in science is primarily a collection of Norwegian resources, but also points to relevant resources outside Norway.

This report provides an overview of Norwegian research on intimate partner violence and Norwegian research on occupational violence - violence at the workplace - with particular focus on what this research reveals about the need for further intervention and preventive measures.
