Gender Equality in the Nordic Countries is a two-part compilation of articles that serves as the syllabus of the Undergraduate and Graduate-level class Gender, Feminism, and Equality taught at the University of Oslo. The articles cover a wide span of gender-centred topics, including gender in academia, homosexual (and bisexual) identities, and the construction of gender roles and expectations during childhood. The focus is primarily on the northern European countries, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, though the research includes other European countries.
